MUSICAL TERMINOLOGY
Foundational Technique - there are 5 foundational musical techniques. Each includes a name, sound and motion. Peery Markings are used to indicate the sounds and motion on sheet music so that musical expression is intentional and understandable. These musical techniques are introduced and certified in the Peery Habits Certification program and then applied to more advanced repertoire in the Intermediate Players and Advanced Givers Certification programs.
